Life of every person is like a diary in which he/she means to write one story.

Hello readers,

As many of us celebrate the auspicious day of Shivratri with great zeal and fervor. It is said that Shivratri is been celebrated on the occasion of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati's marriage ceremony.

However, What signifies these words of shiv and shakti?

The union of these two energies (Shiv and Shakti) represents a deep-rooted meaning here.

As we all know, each of us is a combined entity of masculinity and Feminity. So, each of us is a combination of both forms. Eventually, whichever characteristic dominates over the other, determines our nature and traits.

Here, Shiv is also known as Ardhnareshwar ( means the combination of Male and Female in a single entity). This representation is the actual representation of each one of us.

Here, the combination of Shiva and Shakti is nothing but the combination of Head and Heart.

Where Shiv signifies the complete silence(the absolute masculinity) - the Head(Practicality). On the Other side, Shakti represents the liveliness( the absolute Feminity) - the Heart( Emotions).

So, when we, ourselves, try to find out the balance between these two characteristics,

I think, then we can able to find absolute unison with God and with our soul.

Through meditation and practicing silence, we can able to find pace in this materialistic world too.

Note: These are solely my opinions over Shiv and Shakti. Please do not take it as an Objection if I do any mistake in this.

Thank you!
